Networking Across the Region

AHE invited home education support leaders across the region to an afternoon tea.
The afternoon tea was a fabulous success. Thank you all for your part in it. There was lots of networking and swapping stories, advice and tips. It was wonderful opportunity for the committee to meet others around the region as well as the different regional leaders to meet with each other. Groups from across the whole of the Auckland region were represented, including Waitakere, North Shore, east, central and south Auckland.
It was altogether a very successful afternoon and we are looking forward to getting everyone together again in 2009.
I found the whole atmosphere at the afternoon tea to be positive, exciting, and so supportive, like there is such a great future for homeschoolers in Auckland, because there are so many caring people doing such fantastic things for the whole community.
I appreciated learning about all the different kinds of groups doing all kinds of different things across the region. Let us cherish our freedom to home education, joining together to learn from one another and to support each other in the journey.
