Weka for kids 8-13 yrs
Mayhem for teens 13-19 yrs
These groups exist so homeschooled kids can contact each other. They are similar to Facebook except with better privacy and security. The groups cannot be accessed by non-members, who have to apply to join.
Weka also has book and movie reviews, recommended sites, tons of educational resources, blogs, jokes and trivia.
Mayhem has music, book and movie reviews and a wide range of discussion topics including health and lifestyle advice.
